What can the anchor be used for?

3.5 pound anchors are commonly used for kayaks, canoes, SUP paddle boards, jet skis, personal water crafts, floats, inflatables, rafts, dinghies and other small boats.

What materials is the anchor made from?

The silver anchor is made of galvanized iron. The colored anchors are made of carbon steel. The storage bag is made of waterproof 600D nylon, the carabiner clip and shackle are made of stainless steel and the rope is braided nylon

Will the anchor rust?

Our anchors are made of galvanized iron or carbon steel, which prevents rusting. However, to lessen the chances of corrosion, it's good to rinse salt from the anchor after each use and allow the anchor to fully dry before long periods of storage.

Some people prefer to add chain to the anchor. The shackle is the only way to do so. The shackle can be added to either end of the anchor, giving you more flexibility in how to use it.

What’s the purpose of the zip ties?
