Every Reel Yaks kayak comes with a clear, no-nonsense warranty designed to protect you from manufacturing defects.
• Hull & deck: 2 years (full-price kayaks)
• Pedal drive: 1 year
• Parts & accessories: 90 days
The warranty applies to the original purchaser and covers defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, accidents, transport damage after delivery, unauthorized modifications, or commercial use. Kayaks must be registered within 30 days of purchase.
Yes, returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery provided the kayak is unused and in original condition. Before returning any item, you must contact our support team to obtain a Return Authorization (RA).

I've had it on the water a couple times now and it's been a great vessel! Easy to pack, store, and assemble at the water. All the accessories I've picked up have integrated well. I've had no steering/rudder issues which was my main concern based on older reviews. Quick shipping and easy communications with service team (regarding shipping timing). It assembled easily (using web based instructions, not paper instructions!) My only concern/frustration was the transducer mount that is built in. It didn't come with any screws, so I had to figure out what fit. Once I figured that out, I found that the pre-installed brackets were not well aligned with the hardware from Garmin. Not sure if this is a ReelYak or Garmin issue. Regardless, it was very challenging to mount and I ended up going to an aftermarket fish finder mounting solution. On the water, it's been great. The fin drive cruises, steers well, and I am very happy fishing and exploring from the kayak!

Very stable only criticism I have is I don’t have handles to carry and do not like how the rudder is put through the bottom of the boat with a rope

great kayak. arrived on time, easy to put together, comfortable chair, lots of room and storage, very stable. fin drive works great. rudder install was a little challenging, but I figured it out. A little heavy when put together. I can fit the kayak in the back of my Tucson! Not the fastest, but I can stand up in it. I really like it.

Very nice.
A very nice kayak, I am 6ft 1in tall 240lb & was very comfortable and stable. I could stand up & fish & still felt stable. A few areas I noted could be improved, 1st the rudder shaft the brass fitting inside seems to be just pressed in so if you tighten it to much it pops out. This happened to me on the 1st trip because as I was packing up to go home the rudder had side to side play so tightened it up a little & out it came. I feel some type of retainer to stop that would be nice. 2nd is a small issue with me the front hatch I would of like to see a tighter seal or a way to tighten the cord ontop to secure the hatch more. That's really it, I love the seat, the width makes it very stable, it maneuvers well with both paddles & the fin drive. I did ditched the short paddles it came with & used the large fishing ones I already had. All in all I'm very happy & if I had to I would purchase again.
