FEATURES:

This model has some unique innovations:
Rudder: The rudder sits flush underneath the kayak and is deployed using the rope handle on the side. We chose this configuration to reduce the overall length of the kayak, making it easier to transport and store. This also protects the rudder from damage during transit and frees up the rear of the kayak to allow for a low-cost fixed-mount trolling motor—without interfering with the rudder’s steering or requiring a rewiring of the controls.
Rear Mount: The rear mount uses a wave-patterned design in the plastic instead of a flat surface. This significantly increases strength and durability, as a flat mount in this type of plastic would eventually crack under the variable pressure from a motor.
Trolling Motor Mounts: There are now four potential mounting points for trolling motors: the rear transom, a side-mount bar, the pedal drive recess, and a newly added mount point on the nose.
Battery Box: We’ve added a very deep battery box to accommodate a wide range of battery sizes—without taking up valuable rear cargo space.
Electronics Mounts: Two flush-mount areas have been added in the cockpit to install electronic switches for your gear.
Navigation Lights: We’ve included mounting points for forward-facing port and starboard lights, as well as a rear mount for a standing navigation light.

Loved the 2pc modular design but hate the rudder and peddle

I really wanted to love the kayak but unfortunatly the rudder is subpar and cheaply made. Took it out for a test run and the rudder screw thread came loose. Also the pedal lock cam is junk aswell. Returned the item back to Amazon. Hopefully they will improve the rudder and pedal lock system then i might reconsider purchasing another one.

Very Solid Kayak! Super Happy.

This is my first kayak. It is very solid and can fit in the back of my jeep grand Cherokee. Not sure i see it fitting in the back seat of a sedan. I chose the fin drive system but kind of regretting it only because you can pedal in reverse and when you are fishing and the wind or current are moving you towards your casting target it would be nice to just pedal backwards. The kayak is easy to put together and is very solid.I would highly recommend this product to new and experienced kayakers who plan to use it for fishing.

Defective pieces

Rudder is always turning more to one side than the other because of poor welding

Happy customer

Rudder is a pain to install. Don't understand why it doesn't come already installed. Other than that I'm very happy with it

Poorly made and assembled= poor overall quality

The modular aspect is great.Everything else is average or sub parThe metal cable that connects to the rudder came loose so now my steering is all messed up and sits to the left more and I have less steering to one way and it’s screwed up going to the other. Then installation for this models rudder was not in the instructions. So I spent 4-5 hours beating myself up trying to figure out how to get it to work. Finally got through to customer service and they said it wasn’t in the initial instructions and included new pieces in the assembly kit, but wasn’t listed. It’s a really cheap idea of putting a PVC pipe around the rudders metal shaft, which makes it incredibly difficult to get the rudder up or down. You have to get out of the kayak to pull it back out.The rudder doesn’t even have an area under the kayak to sit flush with, so it will scrape the bottom and can break. Your rudder will be the ultimate weak point. The thing drives like a tank. It doesn’t cut through the water at all. If you’re looking for a good exercise, this will give one. Don’t bother going out on days over 8mph wind. On a very small reservoir pedaling into the wind to get across is a very tough workout, and in fairly fit.It does seem stable, however I wouldn’t go standing in it.The modular system has held up, then again it’s only been a month. The rod holder that came with it is junk, it can’t even hold a rod in place without falling down. The seat just sits on top of the railing. Meaning when I try to sit up and readjust myself the seat slams backwards and now I’m out of position. Which is practically impossible to adjust the seat while on the water. You have to get on land to readjust. This thing was poorly thought out and thrown to the market. Save your 2k and spend an additional 1-2 more and go with what’s trending. I regret spending the money on this.
