I have only taken it out once and have not used the pedals yet but thus far I love it! This is my first kayak so I am not an expert bit it was very sturdy. I am pleased and would recommend this to others! I have to say the directions where very detailed and easy. I have to also say all my emails asking questions before and after my purchase has been answered within 24 hours and very helpful! So far great experience!

Loving this thing so far, on my first time out I hit a log under the water at quite a speed and broke the pedal mount, company sent me a replacement that arrived in a week no questions asked and said I could keep the damaged pedal drive for spare parts. The two piece design is so useful for my situation, fits perfectly on my hitch mounted storage rack. Will be buying the upgraded seat soon as this one does get uncomfortable after a few hours.

This is my first kayak.It is very solid and can fit in the back of my jeep grand Cherokee. Not sure i see it fitting in the back seat of a sedan. I chose the fin drive system but kind of regretting it only because you can pedal in reverse and when you are fishing and the wind or current are moving you towards your casting target it would be nice to just pedal backwards.The kayak is easy to put together and is very solid.I would highly recommend this product to new and experienced kayakers who plan to use it for fishing.

Very nice yak, the fin drive was faster than I expected and easy to install and remove. The yak seems well build and should be durable. The delivery was very fast and it is easy to put together.

The modular kayak middle expansion section is great! Last year, I purchased the single/ solo kayak. And I was delighted when Reel Yaks offered the expansion section so I can convert my single kayak to a tandem/ double whenever I so choose. I purchased this middle expansion section directly from Reel Yaks. The Customer Service support/ communication is excellent and quite impressive. Build quality is excellent. It was packaged very well. It fit perfectly and easily. Wonderful purchase. All three kayak sections fit into my Honda CRV. Easy to store.

I didn’t want a kayak that went on top of my vehicle or stuck too far out the back of my truck bed. The two pieces fit perfectly within my truck bed with the tailgate up.

I was nervous to male such an expensive purchase on Amazon, but when it arrived I was so excited. Purchased for my 18 year old, who loves to fish. He is able to transport him self in his Nissan altima, in the trunk. He loves the pedals , the seat and the rod holders. It is well.worth the money.

I really like this kayak. It seems to be well-made and also quite stable in the water. The fin drive works well, and the rudder is responsive. I've only used it once so far, so I can't speak to longevity, but so far, I'm impressed. It fits in the back of my Toyota Highlander, which is the reason I purchased a modular kayak. My last kayak was a Hobie Pro Angler, and it proved to be too much without a trailer.

My husband loves this kayak! Great of you have a regular size car and perfect for anyone who has had shoulder surgery!

I can reach out and touch each float from my Raptor with very little to no tipping at all

Rudder is a pain to install. Don't understand why it doesn't come already installed. Other than that I'm very happy with it

Although it's modular, when you put the 2 pieces together, it very sturdy as one standard kayak. Very stable, wide and well built. I would highly recommend it. I took this our to Half moon Bay CA in 2-4ft swell, holds up great. I am going out coming Saturday! Very excited!
